Intro

ChatQ is a web application that analyses the sentiment of 10-Q financial reports with AI to help investors make informed decisions.

Problem

Investors rely on 10-Q reports to assess the financial health and performance of publicly traded companies, which are critical for making informed investment decisions. However, these reports are often lengthy and complex, making it challenging for investors to efficiently extract key insights and evaluate a company’s financial standing in a timely manner.

Competitors

We conducted a thorough analysis of how competitors approach the evaluation of 10-Q reports, exploring various methodologies and tools used to analyze this information. After consolidating our findings and analysing them with the team, we decided to focus on developing the sentiment of 10-Q reports.

A flowchart was created to break down all the features in the platform that needed to be built.

User interface

The design is a clean, modern interface that showcases sentiment trends using colour-coded highlights, key metrics, and advanced category filtering for a streamlined user experience.
